ISSUE #2: Michael Craig-Martin on PROCESS

Untitled (xbox control)

Irish-British conceptual artist Michael Craig-Martin’s LAST WORD on PROCESS:

“I suppose I think of process as continuous. I never allow myself to finish. I am always working on a lot of things at once. So as one thing finishes I am in the middle of three other things and the thing that you are doing is always feeding the other thing that you are doing.
People sometimes think, keep starting from scratch and that’s not the way it happens. While I am doing a painting it is telling me what the next one is going to be.”
